* ''[[Air Gear]]'' has Yasuyoshi Sano, otherwise known as "Aeon Clock" who fights on par with King-level Storm Riders despite not having any form of Regalia.
* Kunzite and Zoisite from ''[[Sailor Moon]]'', quite possibly the first LGBT anime couple that the dub translators had no problem with. In fact, the only real complaints fan had was that it was a [[Relationship Upgrade]] from how it was in the manga, little more.
