The show is an American version of ''[[Robot Wars (TV series)\|Robot Wars]]'', which makes sense since they both share a common ancestor in the original Robot Wars competitions in the United States during the early and mid 1990's It was hosted in the first two seasons by Bil Dwyer and Sean Salisbury.
