Richie chats to a Faulklands veteran and finds out he has a hand-carved, wooden false leg that cost £2000. Richie suggest stealing it and pawning it to put the money on Sad Ken. Eddie gets the money and goes to booky's. Sad Ken and his jockey are both shot resulting in a loss. When Eddie comes back to the pub Dick reveals it was all a scam by Dick,his Neice, Larry and the Pawnbrowker.
