Line 15:
* Cassandra Truth: Both movies have them in some form or another.
* Choke Holds: Yorga rather favorite method of execution. As he's a vampire and has superhuman strength, its very effective.
* Death by Sex: Subverted and played straight in the first movie.
** For the former, Paul and Erica have sex in the van just before Yorga attacks them. They survive the encounter (Paul being knocked out after trying to fight Yorga) though Erica ends up bitten and begins her transformation into becoming a vampire.
** For the latter, when Yorga comes to claim Erica. He makes out with her briefly while in the midst of feeding on and draining her blood.
* Downer Ending / You Are Too Late: Both movies. In the first The second film is a flip of this .
* Eats Babies: One of the more infamous scenes in the first movie involved one of the bitten characters, temporarily succumbing to her bloodlust, eating her pet cat. A unused scene from the film showed one of the brides actually eating a baby. Though it is mentioned later in the film.
* Foreshadowing: When Paul and Erica drive Yorga to his mansion and pulled up to the driveway. They spot a figure in the doorway of his house. Michael asks if that's his wife, but Yorga denies it. .
* Foot Focus: Yorga's brides all move around barefoot.
* The Igor: Brudah, Yorga's deformed servant.
* It Was Here, I Swear: In the second movie, the Nelsons live in mute maid, Jennifer, comes across the massacre of the the Nelson family done by Yorga's harem previously save for Tommy. When the authorities are being summoned, Brudah, Yorga's human deformed servant, sneaks in and clears the room of evidence. So when the the cops do finally arrive, the crime scene has disappeared and Tommy, under Yorga's control, denies Jennifer's claims.
* It Was Here, I Swear
* Kill'Em All: All the characters, including Yorga, are either killed or turned into vampires.
* Large Ham: Yorga when he taunting his opponents as this phrase show

* More Teeth Than the Osmond Family: The vampires' fangs inhere thisare filmpatterned lookafter morevampire likebats with two big incisors in the forefront of a piranharow thenof vampirefangs. Oddly though, when Yorga bites his female victim, he only leaves tiny pinpricks.
* No Ontological Inertia:
* Rise from Your Grave: The opening of the second movie. Its also the main pic of the trope.
