Some Lawyers are purely in it for the Money. At best they don't care who you are or what they are represent at court as long as the bill gets paid. At worst they are Amoral Attorneys who will do anything to win while giving a crap whom they have as client.

* From Marvel:
** Matt Murdoch brings the same sense of work ethics and morality into his day-job.
** She Hulk too.
* The latest, pre-New52, incarnation of Manhunter (No, not the green one) shows one of the more extreme versions of this trope, as she is a prosecutor willing to bring criminals justice as vigilante if it isn't found in court.
** And as hard as it is to believe (given how much the good guys seem to love fighting each other in comics) it took until 2014 before the two opposed each other on opposite sides in a case.
* Harvey Dent was a District Attorney in Gotham City and ally of Batman before a Gangster throws acid in his face and he becomes Two-Face

* In many versions of Batman continuity, Harvey Dent was a district attorney in Gotham City and ally of Batman before a gangster throws acid in his face, prompting his transformation into Two-Face. Some continuities portray him as an Amoral Attorney and/or Corrupt Politician, with his fate being a Karmic Transformation as a result of his hypocrisy.

Film
* Edward L. Masry in Erin Brockovich, though more on the "ending there" than "starting there" side. Also in Real Life.
* Similarly, Joe Miller from Philadelphia.
* Alan Isaacman in The People vs. Larry Flynt
* When superheroes were started to be sued and banned by the government in The Incredibles, daytime-lawyer/nighttime-hero Gazerbeam fought as hard as he could for the rights of his masked compatriots.
* Like in the comics, The Dark Knight Saga has Harvey Dent]], much like in the comics.
* In Cars (2006), the town's only lawyer, Sally, turns a seemingly-routine traffic court case into a lengthy, idealistic oratory on why Main Street (US 66) must be rebuilt to save the town economically.
* John Travolta's character Jan Schlichtmann in A Civil Action was this type of lawyer. He ended up going bankrupt because of his dedication to the cause.

Live -Action TelevisionTV
* JAG veers into this some times, as they go to some lengths to win their cases, like firing a sub-machine gun in the courtroom.
* Most lawyers at Crane, Pool & Schmidt, given the right case. Especially Alan Shore (after some Character Development), who is always willing to stand onto his soapbox for the underdog, bends this and Amoral Attorney together into a nice pretzel.

* Celia from The Order of the Stick is technically still at law school, but shows hallmarks that this will be the kind of lawyer she'll be.

Western Animation
* Tom from The Boondocks. It says a lot when you're the only person in the cast whom Huey genuinely trusts. Unfortunately, he's honest and generous almost to a fault.

Real Life
* FBI special counsel Robert Mueller has the reputation of this in the eyes of many of Donald Trump's detractors; to Trump's supporters, he's an Amoral Attorney. Of course, neither is truly accurate; he's as amoral as a lawyer needs to be, and no matter how well-intentioned he was, he certainly wasn't doing it out of charity.
** On a similar note, as of early 2023, many of Trump's detractors were thinking the same thing of Fulton County Georgia DA Fani Willis.
* Would you believe Fred Phelps? Originally, the founder of the notoriously homophobic Westboro Baptist Church was known as a civil rights advocate in the 50s and 60s, and as a defense attorney, argued - often successfully, in Kansas no less - in cases where such was an issue. It seemed to go downhill for him after he was disbarred for filing frivolous lawsuits.
