- Crowning Music of Awesome: Death's "Cosmic Sea," the title theme of the game.
- Complete Monster: Mimi Grendel and Jeremiah likely qualify.
- Unfortunate Implications: Quite a few. The portrayal of some Marines as borderline psychopaths is questionable, as is the whole premise of a few missions in the third chapter where you, leading a fully armed fireteam of US Marines, assault militia compounds in the United States just to seize "illegal weaponry."
