- Cross-Dressing Voices: Genderflipped, believe it or not. Yohko's grandmother Madoka was voiced by a male (Yuji Mitsuya), not counting the OAV where she reverted to her prime age (and Satomi Koorogi took up the young Madoka role).

- In the North American dub, Yohko is Rei Ayanami.
