She might not confront them at all, choosing simply to amuse herself by watching them deal with her home's deadly traps and soulless undead minions, she might steal their souls and add them to the ranks of the aforementioned minions, she may subject them to agonizing psychological torment before letting one leave, letting him live with the horror he experienced for the rest of his life, she might ''pretend'' to be friendly, then trick them into a bargain that dooms an entire generation of their civilization (as she famously did with a group of eladrin), or she might be genuinely hospitable and invite them for a friendly chat before letting them go unharmed. Of course, anyone who has escaped or survived any of these possible scenarios (including the last) will advise any would-be gloryhounds not to take the risk.
