It doesn't help that Sima Shi gained the favor of many influential officers after he [[Take That Scrappy|demoted Zhao for his failure at Dong Xing]] (Despite him and Zhuge Dan being both at fault). However, he does manages to rescue himself from the Scrappy Heap after he steps up {{spoiler|(following Shi's death).}}
