Expy/Anime and Manga: Difference between revisions

*** ''Each season's'' [[The Lancer|lancer]] is an expy of Yamato from the first season. He, Ken/Digimon Kaiser, Ruki, Kouji, Touma, and Kiriha are varying degrees of [[Red Oni, Blue Oni|blue oni to the Goggle Boy's red oni,]] each has some connection to the color blue, all but Ken and Kiriha are partnered with or transform into canids, and three of them are blond males. Kiriha's an odd duck, though, as he is partnered with a Greymon, traditionally associated with the Goggle Boy. At least it's blue this time around.

* Most female leads in [[Hayao Miyazaki]]'s films are Expies of [[Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind|Nausicaa]]. This is almost averted in ''[[Laputa: Castle in the Sky]]'', until the main villain removes Sheeta's pigtails.

** Chihiro and Rin from ''[[Spirited Away]]'' look a lot like Shizuku and her [[Cool Big Sis|older sister]] from ''Whisper of the Heart''.

* ''[[Sora O Kakeru Shoujo]]'': Leopard looks a ''lot'' like Lelouch from ''[[Code Geass]]''. And in the words of Leopard himself, that should he be human, he would in fact look like Lelouch. And for extra points, both he and Lelouch has the [[Jun Fukuyama|same voice actor.]]
