* In ''[[D.Gray-man]]'', villainess Road Kamelot began as sort of a creepy, almost inhuman looking little monster. Roughly 170 chapters later, she's shed some of the more blatant aspects to her design (though kept just enough to still hit that fetish), traded in her dress for a form-fitting outfit, gained features that are smoother and more natural looking, with the result being that a character who was initially pretty disturbing in appearance has ended up really cute.
