Nothing they actually do is that subtexty, and Skun-ka'pe is [[Mars Needs Women|very defensively heterosexual]], but all the other characters act as if they're a couple as if it was the most natural, normal and obvious thing in the world. This even carries over to ''[[Poker Night At the Inventory]]'', where the Devil's Playhouse deck shows Skun-ka'pe as the King and Papierwaite as the Queen.
