* [[Lamarck Was Right]]: Despite that fact that Quinn is a natural born brunette and that her blond hair is explicitly a dye job, Beth was somehow born with blond hair. At first, this doesn't seem so implausible, since Quinn could have inherited a blond hair allele from one of her parents. However, if both of Quinn's parents are natural blonds (and we're never led to believe otherwise), then Quinn herself should have been born with blond hair, not brown. Basically, unless one assumes that at least one of Quinn's parents also dyes their hair blond, [[Artistic License: Biology|the genetics don't really add up.]] In fact, even if one ''does'' assume that, the fact that Puck is also a brunette makes it much less likely that Beth would be born blond (maybe even impossible, depending on whether Puck has a recessive blond allele).
