- In the first short story:
Gotrek: You're a weakling, manling, and a coward too. |
- Any time a Skaven's on screen for more than a paragraph.
- A single throw-away line in Elfslayer: "Gotrek pushed past [the elf] and stomped into the privy. There was a tense moment of silence, followed by a sound like an explosion in a brewery. The crowd dispersed quickly, trying not to catch each others' eye."
- Early in Daemonslayer, Ulrika tells Felix that while so drunk that he doesn't remember it, he climbed a very tall tower on a bet. Felix convinces himself that she was just pulling his leg ... and then the dwarf who bet that Felix couldn't climb the tower promises to pay up as soon as he gets some money.
