Greg Collinson is a Canadian animator best known for the series Di Gata Defenders. He was given the opportunity to create the show by Nelvana Entertainment and with the help of scriptwriter Ken Cuperus launched the series on September 16th 2006 in Canada. Since then it has been broadcast in countries such as the United Kingdom, Malaysia, The Phillipines, Australia and America. Originally the show was going to be called Power Stone Warriors.
