* An episode of ''[[Codename Kids Next Door (Animation)|Codename: Kids Next Door]]'' had a mind-control helmet that was mass-marketed towards girls as a way of controlling their boyfriends. When Ariel's animal friends attack her, they shatter the shell and both free Eric ''and'' return Ariel's voice to her.
