Eldest of the companions by one day, Ichiro is Robu-san's Unison Device. He dual-wields katana that are scaled to his size, and shares his sword and magical skills with Robu-san when they're in Unison. (Robu-san can manifest forcefield swords when required.) More mundanely, he knows enough about etiquette and high society to be able to dance formally, and enough about the TSAB training curriculum to be able to teach most of it. He considers Sakura and Meia to be sisters, and is friends with the other Companions. ''Close'' friends, in the case of Shario-chan; the two of them are shown to be boyfriend and girlfriend in chapter S.
Ichiro has jet-black hair, and so does Robu-san when they're in Unison. Robu-san named him after the character played by [[Akio Suyama]] in ''[[Sakura Wars]]'', to match Sakura.
