• After in the early episodes serving as a MacGuffin character, Chikane Himemiya betrayed Himeko, kicks the curb out of Souma; who practically has done all the fighting by himself, corrupts his mecha, took it to the enemy home base, and even without her mecha, she wipes out the Quirky Miniboss Squad on foot by herself (except the said squad's leader, but he still loses). And after the end, it's later revealed that it's all a Plan due to her reasoning of I Want My Beloved to Be Happy.
