- "Djinn only exists in fairytales...and I don't believe in fairytales." Yes, the effing GENIE said that. Wow.
- Not to defend the film, but the point of what he's saying is he thinks that there's no such thing as free genies (djinn), only enslaved djinn (genies).
- Even though in the original stories, there were only free genies. The whole amazing part of the story of Aladdin was being able to have control over such an extremely powerful being is lost on people these days.
- And in the Islamic Myth, they're a whole other race on the level with humans, not slaves to them.
