This strip has a cast of thousands... er, dozens. Important recurring characters include:
* LaserLazer Pony (a.k.a. Troy Popcorn) - a blind guy with laser eyes and below average intelligence.
* Good Girl - A good helpful Christian girl, a beacon of sweetness and light, until her Battery of Virtue (halo power) runs out. Then she's kind of mean. (With good reason.)
* Bad Good Girl - Good Girl was split into two people around strip 666. TheyAfter combining their halos into one for a power-up, they take turns <s>wearing</s> sticking each other with the halo.
* Buckaress (a.k.a. Eva) - former spy and roommate.
* Alex - Buckaress's girlfriend. No powers, but good with gadgets.
* Keith - Some guy they live with.
* Gyrognome - the landlord, fear his tiny powerful fists.
* Mary Sue - yes, that Mary Sue, with all the useful powers. For some reason, LaserLazer Pony's girlfriend.
* Cat-a-pult - Super villain (Attempting anyway) with the power to levitate cats. [http://superredundant.com/?comic=784-field-trip Any cats, including cougars. Pals with LaserLazer Pony, not that either lets his respective team find out.
* Distracterella - Super villaness with the power of distraction. Got her power from a sexy meteor.
* Bolfman_234 (a.k.a. Viktor Bolf) - Enforcer of Rule 34
* The Evil Savant (a.k.a. Edwin Porkington) - A mentally disabled evil mastermind
* Josie - Attended the same high school as Eva and Alex. She learned magic because she wanted both her own wonderful life and Buckaress's freedom. Something of an anti-villain.

Line 27:
* Distracted by the Sexy: Distracterella's whole superpower is this.
** This strip shows she always turns the trope Up to Eleven:

* Evil Gloating: Subverted {{here]]in one strip; even super villains can suffer low self esteem
* Expy: No prize for guessing who the Famous Foursome, the Observer, and Galacticus are based on.
* Framing the Guilty Party: Gyrognome did it.
* Good Guy Bar: The Bar of Justice, although bad guys are welcome too; the place is often presented as a Truce Zone.
* Hitler's Time Travel Exemption Act: When the League are time-travelling (uncontrollably), they do Newspaper Dating in strip 1193. Alex shows she isn't as observant as she thinks she is, completely missing the Page 1 headline "WAR AVERTED! Hitler Mysteriously Disappears"
* Innocent Fanservice Girl: Good Girl although it could be her bad-girl persona leaking though.
* Kirby Dots: In the FF parody, of course.
* Lethal Chef: Buckaress, as shown in strip 1120:

* Most Common Superpower: Buckaress.
* Newspaper Dating: Invoked in strip 1192 when the League are time travelling uncontrollably.
* Only Sane Man: Laser Pony, more often than not. Not that anyone listens.

* Only Sane Man: LaserLazer Pony, more often than not. Not that anyone listens.
* Other Me Annoys Me: Zigzagged with Good Girl, or rather, her original, not-so-good personality, Bad Good Girl. Throughout the first few hundred strips, Bad Good Girl has despised her heroic alter-ego. However, when the two become a Literal Split Personality, they get along surprisingly well. More or less.
* Parody Sue: Mary Sue, of course. This comic is many things, but "subtle" is rarely one of them.
* Power Incontinence: Laser Pony. Simply using his powers for the first time is what blinded him.
* Gets AroundIncontinence: HowLazer manyPony. boyfriendsSimply haveusing youhis stolen!?]powers for the first time is what blinded him.
* Really Gets Around: "How many boyfriends have you stolen!?"
* Shout-Out:
** Hogsworth’s finest
** Agent Double-O Zero gets a makeover.
** A weather controller named Gale.
** There's a hero based on one of the characters from Journey to the West... via some manga.

* Stripperiffic: Buckaress's first outfit was a hat, a mask, a skimpy top and short-shorts. And, as mentioned under Distracted by the Sexy, Distracterella wears body paint and three stars.
* Super-Hero Origin: Shown for Distracterella, Good Girl, LaserLazer Pony and The Evil Savant
