An American singer, songwriter and pianist who proclaimed himself as "the architect of [[Rock and Roll]]". One of the few artists active in [[The Fifties]] whose mass popularity approached that of [[Elvis Presley]], Little Richard is one of the most important figures in the history of rock music; few would dispute him the title.
