Nowadays, though, almost all of the M.U.G.E.N sites have either not been updated since 2010, or have been shut down. Because of this, finding certain characters is almost impossible. That said, the M.U.G.E.N scene itself is still alive and well as of 2021, and there are dedicated sites to archiving and exchanging characters.
