The story of my life however, begins rather earlier - A Jew, I was born in [[Weimar Republic]] Germany in the late [[The Roaring Twenties|1920s]] before moving to [[Useful Notes/Poland|Poland]] with my parents in 1939... and those of you with remedial historical training can [[Those Wacky Nazis|venture a guess as to where this is heading]]. As a young man I witnessed and endured some of the very worst of what humanity had to offer.
