''[[Miracle Child]]'' is a [[Homestuck]] fanfiction by Bramble-Patch. Originally written for the Homestuck Kink Meme, it centers around Gamzee.
The basic set-up is that post-Sgrub Gamzee goes out to the conscription ships, fully expecting to be culled for his sopor slime habit. Thanks to the influence of the Grand Highblood, he is sent to undergo Subjugglator training instead. The fanfic is about how he adapts to sobriety and the violent life of a novitiate. Add in a rebellion in the works led by Karkat, the terrifying personality that is the Grand Highblood, a cast of beautifully written OC classmates, and a truckload of world-building backstory available on the work's Tumblr, and you have the formula for a very good fic.
