* ''Synopsis'': It's about Valentine coming into his own at the circus, and Helena, as she waits for him. It's a romance fic if you want to look at it that way, a gen fic about two people who already know each other from somewhere if you don't want to.

* ''Comments'': This is my hands-down favorite ''Mirror Mask'' fic, which I guess isn't really saying much because there's so little fic out there. Regardless, it's nearly as dreamy and eerily-evocative as the movie, and makes me smile.

* ''Synopsis'': This is by the same author, is a bit more plotty, and crosses over with ''Constantine'' and ''Sandman'', as Valentine and Helena are assigned a quest.

* ''Comments'': It helps to have read the other books, but not necessary.
