Ninjabread Man is an Action Adventure and Platform Game created by Data Design Interactive for the 2, PC and Wii. After nearly being eaten by a foxy fox in the original story, The Gingerbread Man decides to learn self-defense. Now he's willing to kick butt as The Ninjabread Man, slashing baked enemies with his sword as he tries to learn more powerful moves.

The game was actually one of four released games which were, in effect, four versions of the exact same game, using the same models with different skins; the others were Trixie in Toyland, Anubis II and Rock 'n' Roll Adventures;. inIn the nicest possible terms, it was an attempt to market the game under four titles for better sales. Data Design may even have done this more than once.

Although the 2 version never came to light, the Wii version got lots of flack for its terrible controls and short game content. (And the other three "versions" were no better.) Despite this, a sequel iswas being made.... in Europe only, which justifies in Europe only. And then it got cancelled. Thank goodness.

As a bit of a shock, this game started development as a revival of Zool, but the rights holders gave a look at what was shaping up and decided the results were so absolutely naff that they declined further interest in DDI's "spectacular" work.

* Badass Adorable: Or at least that's what they tried to do for the main character.
