A classic TV show from the 1970s, albeit one that has vanished into obscurity today.

Number 96 was an Australian Prime Time Soap that followed the lives of residents of a block of flats in Sydney. It quickly gained notoriety for its subject matter, being the first TV show not only full frontal nudity and onscreen sex, but also a long-running homosexual relationship that drew no interest from other characters. It was made into a feature film in 1974

An American version was also made, but was heavily Bowdlerised -- the sexual content was removed and the comedy was emphasized over the drama.
