  • For Scentimental Reasons winning the Oscar for best 1949 animated short, which made producer Eddie Selzer eat his words about what he thought of the Pepe Le Pew cartoons.
    • It should be noted that when Selzer went on stage to accept the Oscar, he didn't say a damn thing.
