There are other traits to point out, such as Yosuke also being from the city, the other similarities you already mentioned (headphones, voice actor, etc) and also, Yosuke's final Persona is Susano-O, which in P3 was the Ultimate Persona of the Fool Arcana, the MC's initial Arcana.

Seems natural to me since they're both of the Justice Arcana. He'd appear on the second day with the team walking past a guy laying a flower in front of the old dorm.
