Take for example the fight near the end of the first movie. Very gritty and violent, much different compared to the first fight in the beginning where it wasn't so violent.

* I just realized why Gary [[Took a Level In Kindness]]. Gary's based off Blue (or Green), who becomes nicer in Gen 2. He also seems to like Red, who Ash is based on, in HG/SS.
