The Past
Digby rejoins Ned at Boarding School, seemingly aware that he cannot touch his beloved master. Still, the companionship cheers Ned immensely.
The Present
Two fliers crash-land near the Pie Hole almost simultaneously: a carrier pigeon flies into the Pie Hole's window, and a small plane flies into the apartment building opposite. The carrier pigeon is accidentally revived by Ned, but the apartment's occupant needs no such help; and, in fact, instantly finds himself in Ned's bad books by hitting on Chuck.
