Complete Monster: James Blackwood for locking his deformed child in his basement for years. Of course, this depends a bit on whether there really is a curse or not. If so, locking his son in the basement may have been the best thing Blackwood could have done. This doesn't excuse the behaviour of his friend Christopher Milton, though, who apparently kept the kid alive down there for years before he started believing in the curse himself.
