The second season was called "Shasta". The show's fandom (most notably, ''[[Malcolm in Thethe Middle]]'' star Frankie Muniz) viewed this name change and the changes that accompanied it as [[Jumping the Shark]]. Those outside its fandom are likely surprised that the show had a second season.
 
This series is also worth noting because it [[Screwed Byby the Network|helped sink]] the [[Animated Series]] version of ''[[Dilbert]]'', which was scheduled after it but had very little in common with it. Also because it cemented [[UPN]]'s reputation of greenlighting pretty much anything that comes across their desks.
