It somewhat distinguishes itself from other works in the genre by giving the girls distinct personalities and motivations behind their actions — and the sexual scenes are also usually devoid of over-the-top descriptions. Although Shinobu's antics get the most attention, there are storylines for other girls as well, so the series still has the episodic nature that is so typical in hentai.
An anime has been released, consisting of three episodes released as separate OVAs, with a somewhat altered storyline. The anime tends to focus more on plot than the manga although many sex scenes are still there.
