* [[Gadgeteer Genius]]: In the original ''Sister Princess'', Rin-rin (the inventor and ambitious genius) can produce high-tech items overnight for literal pocket change. In ''RePure'', she can build small mecha out of leftover junk parts.
* [[Incest Subtext]]: Like ''[[Sister Princess]]'', there is an incestuous subtext in ''RePure'', but the subtext surfaces clearly here. In the very first episode, Karen recounts how she decided that she would be her brother's bride despite society's disapproval of such a thing, and a later story has Chikage declare that her brother was the only man for her. It isn't until episode 12 of ''RePure'' that any of the girls says any differently, when Sayaka admits to herself tearfully she cannot be her brother's bride.
