This is one of the longest of the [[Print Long Runners|Newspaper Comics Long Runners]] in North America - only ''[[Gasoline Alley]]'' and ''[[The Katzenjammer Kids]]'' have longer uninterrupted runs. (And if ''Snuffy Smith'' continues its uninterrupted run until July 8, 2027, it will surpass ''[[The Katzenjammer Kids]]''. It will always be a half-year younger than ''[[Gasoline Alley]]'' until such time as one or the other stops running new strips.)
