The story is noted for staying very true to character, even considering [[Bleach|how many]] [[Loads and Loads of Characters|the source material brings.]] Lelouch, Aizen, Yoruichi, Urahara, and everyone else are all completely in character.

Also important is something ''extremely'' rare in any crossover: ''things don't change right away''. The story starts sometime a little before the turn back the pendulum arc, and major changes don't happen for several chapters. This is partially because the overall spread of events was [[The Chessmaster|designed]] to allow for [[Magnificent Bastard|inconsistencies,]] and partially because Lelouch starts out at a fairly low rank, and stays that way for a while. His rise through the ranks is steady and believable.
