Line 32:
* The Dragon / The Lancer: She zigzags between the two, now serving a far less evil Kerrigan while still being rather amoral herself, but as time goes on she becomes, by Zerg standards, rather heroic and noble as Kerrigan's second in command and designated successor.
* Moral Myopia: Has a bit of one where she thinks Terrans are disadvantaged because they lack a Hive Mind and thus doomed to be alone, and genuinely believes infesting them does them a favor whether they want it or not, though she is also well aware that the Hive Mind can and has been used against the Zerg with terrible and bloody results.
* Number Two: Serves as Kerrigan's vice commander by default, and Kerrigan often has her take full control of the Zerg when Kerrigan has to perform some other task.
* Undying Loyalty: Bizarrely handled. After she is defeated she serves Kerrigan once more after having rebelled, but elects to remains loyal after realizing she's got a lot to leastlearn if she wants to be as cunning and farsighted as Kerrigan, and while this initially manifests as a self-serving desire for eventual power Kerrigan nonetheless tolerates, Zagara shows that she genuinely respects her Queen, even being willing to ignore opportunities to backstab Kerrigan since Zagara realizes Kerrigan is still the better qualified leader. By Legacy of the Void, she has become so much more altruistic she even works willingly alongside Raynor and his forces, even urging Raynor to make sure he does not let Kerrigan fall in battle. .
