The movie

• Motive Decay: The alien's spacecraft was originally shot down under the assumption that it was a Soviet attack, but it's later definitively established that he's an extraterrestrial. NSA Chief George Fox (Richard Jaeckel) still wants to kill him because... well, who knows? Just to be evil, apparently.

• Dude Not Funny: This exchange between Alan Scott and Ted Knight about a former teammate of theirs.

Alan Scott: Did you hear Hercules has Alzheimer's? Ted Knight: Hercules? Was he in the All Star Squadron, I don't recall? Alan Scott: Well, you know what... Both: Neither does he!
