And again, Gorski is an authority figure with power over the girls in both universes, and the parallel here is actually quite straight-forward; in both worlds she is someone who wants to help but is held back by the structure she inhabits (a dated asylum or a brothel) and in the brothel reality Babydoll actually does her a favour and reframes her limitations as someone actively working against her kindness.
