In this version, Bowyer’s Interface Screw also disables Toad’s Assist, an Action Gauge move, and the only such Gauge move you will have at that point. When on the verge of defeat, he blatantly cheat and disable all three of the buttons on the player’s controller, leaving the party powerless... But then Geno pulls out a ''second'' Action Gauge ability, the Star Riders Triple Move. (Bowyer had disabled a skill that ''uses'' the Action Gauge, not the Gauge itself.) They easily take him down.
