  • Applicability: Curtis' backyard has some thematic parallels to the beach. The treeline in the distance represents the tsunami, the cornfield is the sand exposed by the wave pulling back and his daughter's playset is the sandcastle.
  • Big Lipped Alligator Moment: The dream where the furniture floats up in the air and then falls. This dream is the farthest from his others - it doesn't have rain or birds or anyone attacking him - just a person seen through the window and floating furniture.
