She winds up getting engaged to Rito, deeming him suitable enough to be her fiance, though this was only to escape out of the situation with her father and bodyguards. Eventually, Lala does genuinely come to love him and even encourages Haruna's love, despite the fact it interferes with her own.

Relegating to stay on Earth to continue his bodyguard duties for Lala, Zastin in the meantime works as an assistant for Rito's father Saibai and is learning how to draw manga himself.
