The most recent incarnation of ''[[Top Gear]]'' began after the 2002 version's cast left to create ''[[The Grand Tour]]''. Out an iconic and well loved cast, the BBC gathered Chris Evans (the British one), Matt LeBlanc (Joey on ''[[Friends]]''), Rory Reid (Presenter on YouTube series ''[[Fast, Furious & Funny]]'' and token black), Sabine Schmitz (A German racing driver and token female), Chris Harris (an automotive journalist) and Eddie Jordan (Formula One team member turned commentator) to host the new show.
