Topic on Talk:False Widow

Line 1: Line 1:
Is this trope exclusively for covering up an out of wed-lock child or all examples of a woman pretending to be a widow when she isn't? Is a "widow" trying to prove her husband is dead when he isn't in order to claim the insurance payout and dump him before he gets back from his vacation an example?
