The tweet Trump made calling for peace that I've previously linked, albeit Tweeted a bit too late since violence already begun, undermines if not disproves the idea he was advocating violence. Plus he was head of state at the time, since when does a company have the authority to overrule a head of state? That sounds like one of those tyrannical megacorps from cyberpunk stories.
