It's a step in the right direction, but I'm not quite sold on either image: I don't feel that the first captures the "sadomasochist" part of the trope as well as it could. It's better in the latter what with Goro's blissful grin, but the fact that he's inflicting pain upon his victim isn't immediately clear: the poor guy looks like he's suffering from some bad heartburn as opposed to a knife wound.
