* Shiki has Sunako, the leader of the vampire clan. She's trying to set up a place for vampires to live in peace, but she isn't too bothered by the whole.. killing people thing. Her major case of Black Eyes of Evil comboed with her cutesy voice and Elegant Gothic Lolita fashions open up a a big 'ole box of creepiness.
* Fullmetal Alchemist has
* In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, one shot characters Haley and Clair, two young siblings who died after their parents abandoned them. ** The concept of a dybbuk plays on this, believed by some to be the dislocated spirit of a dead person, such as an unborn or young child. This is used heavily in the 2009 film The Unborn.

* A good chunk of the Zombie Spawn monsters in Mortasheen come from this. Like the Braindead example, it usually happens when two zombies attempt to copulate. Oddly enough, they commonly have Bee-Bee Gun powers due to parasitic insects/worms infesting them while still in the womb.
* One slightly positive example is a DnD 3.5 supplement on undead with a half-ghoul template, where the mother is infected by whatever magical affliction creates ghouls and gives birth to a half-ghoul child that can grow up. Usually the child has to be rescued by normal humans to survive long, though.

** In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, the Old Gateau has lots of Ghost Pokémon and two human ghosts. The child one appears when the player enters the fourth room from the west on the second floor, which is next to the bedroom where she randomly "appears". When this happens, she looks to the left, where the player is, then moves towards the exit and vanishes. Urban Legend of Zelda aside, there is no way to interact with her, as she is not in the hall (where she would logically be) if you exit the room.
** In Pokémon Black and White, you will sometimes see a girl on Marvelous Bridge who will disappear if you approach her. An old woman in the Bridge Gate to the east of the bridge will explain that the young girl used to play around the area with an Abra before the bridge was built. In Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, you meet the girl in the Strange House, and she will talk to you; the first time she seems depressed, talking about an “everlasting dark dream” ( is Darkrai involved?) looking for her parents and the Abra. The second time she mentions a Lunar Wing and begs someone (you?) to stay with her. Third time, she assures you that she is okay, and gives you the Lunar Wing. She says she wanted to give it to a Pokémon at the bridge and asks you to do so. Bring it there, and you can battle (and capture) Cresselia.
** Pokémon X and Y has the infamous “creepy elevator girl” on the second floor of the Fighting Dojo building in Lumiose City. go there and a Hex Maniac will appear behind you and say "No, you're not the one," and float into the room and offscreen Even though the room has no other exits, you won’t find her if you search the place. There is a Call Back to this event in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire where a Hex Maniac at Mt. Pyre tells the player the same quote.
** In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Phoebe is a Strange Girl who specializes in Ghost Pokemon, and the Boss Room where you challenge her has a chair next to the exit with nobody sitting on it… But right before you battle her, as the screen fades to black, you can briefly see a smiling ghost girl sitting there. When the battle starts, the scene shifts, where the camera shows a point of view from the chair (suggesting she's closely watching) and even creepier, when the battle ends and another cutscene starts, the ghost girl appears to be right behind the player. Yipe.
** At the Trainers’ School at night in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the player will meet a little girl with a Drifloon who asks you to solve seven mysteries around the school; solve them all, and she gives you Wise Glasses. Then a security guard appears and asks who you are talking to, and in the time it takes to turn your head, the girl is gone, the guard claiming she was never there. What makes this extra-creepy is that the PokeDex claims Drifloon are known to kidnap children who mistake them for balloons. Was this girl a victim of such an abduction? We will likely never know.
** Also in Sun and Moon (but only the demo version) of Sun and Moon, there’s girl you can speak to in the Marina. She tells you that she is leaving on a boat in 24 days, that she is afraid of boats, and asks if you can see her off. If you agree and come there on that day (24 real-life later) she is happy that you came, says she is excited she will finally see her parents again, starts to walk off and then… disappears.
** In Pokémon Sword and Shield, a girl named Paula in Hammerlocke asks the player to deliver a letter to a boy named Frank in Ballonlea. When you find Frank, he is in fact an old man. He remembers a girl named Paula who was a friend when he was a boy, but she died of an illness that she didn’t tell him about. If the player returns to where Paula was, she is gone, but a Reaper Cloth (a Hold Item useful for Ghost Pokémon) is there.
* Spooky, the cute little ghost girl in Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion.
