At very least, this is debilitating, and can cause insanity or death. However, Madcap actually ''enjoyed'' this, having not experienced pain at all in years due to the nature of his powers, and decided to start being even ''more'' murderous and destructive in hopes Ghost Rider would find him and do it again.
