Line 2:
** Examples include shooting an enemy in the balls while standing close to a thrown grenade, or, when they pick up a thrown grenade, you can shoot them in the arm, which results in them holding on to the grenade and having it explode in their face.
** Better yet, Soldier of Fortunes "gore zone" system allows you to bloodily destroy individual body parts, and relish the horrific death animations.
* (series) and its sequel BioShock 2 firstly allow you to dispense with enemies with varying degrees of sadism. The greatest cruelty potential, however, is in how you deal with the Little Sisters. Be honest, you've done"harvested" thisa Little Sister at least once if you've played the game, even if it was just to see what happens. Dealing with them in a certainthis way results ingrants immediate material gain for you, but existence failure for them. The shame the player may feel over acting so selfishly is exacerbated in the sequel by the re-tooled design and voice acting of the Little Sisters ramping up their cuteness and vulnerability; oh yeah, and This is made even worse by the fact that you can do it just once, and still avoid the Bad Ending. For some reason, murdering an innocent little girl as she pleads for mercy won't put you over the Moral Event Horizon, until you do it a second time.
** Even choosing to save one of them is very unsettling, as it causes her to struggle and scream "NO, NO, NO!" as if she thinks you're going to harvest her. ( Have they witnessed it happen to other Little Sisters?. It's actually very likely, given the number of thugs who you witness trying to.) Until, that is you finish the process and she meekly says "thank you" before running off.
** In Bioshock 2, you can also shoot the unarmed nice old nanny on the face, or put a drill through her head. She's only taunting you a little bit, and doesn't try to fight at all.
